Kenyan Delegation Explores Germany's Hydrogen Industry
In late June, a delegation from the Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA) spent seven days touring Germany with us. Their question: how does green hydrogen make their operations more efficient, more cost-effective, and more climate-friendly.
Together with our colleagues Tim Hannig and Tobias Wolf, we put together a tour covering the entire hydrogen value chain, from production to real-world application. The week made one thing clear. Hydrogen is no longer a technology of the future. Companies across Germany already use it today to cut energy costs and reduce CO2 emissions. Other markets hold real potential too, such as tea drying in Kenya.
